The Process of Listening ft. Andreas Dalsgaard (#83)

Welcome to episode 83, featuring the first Danish director to sit in the armchair, the extraordinarily thoughtful Andreas Dalsgaard. He has made quite a few films in a pretty short amount of time (he’s also a hard worker) and caught our attention with his most recent, Life Is Sacred. He has a rare capacity for people and an inquisitive nature which he uses to try to meet the subjects of his films with humility and respect, and it shows in his works. He came in for the earliest talk we’ve had yet, and shared his thoughts on film school, using film language and applying it to real life and about how the process defines the style. He also tells us about his newest project, which sounds jaw dropping and we can’t wait to see. Enjoy!
